(Message from CDC) Last month, The White House announced it would partner with the National Governors Association (NGA) and the nation’s Governors to combat the Zika virus. The goal of the partnership is to coordinate federal, state and local response and prevention efforts through a coordinated attack on the mosquito and the spread of the virus. To that end, the Zika Action Plan (ZAP) Summit will be held on April 1, 2016 at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in Atlanta, Georgia.   Read more
WHO releases a Zika app!
The WHO has created a Zika App and is now available. The app gathers all of WHO's guidance for agencies and individuals involved in the response to Zika Virus Disease and its suspected complications such as microcephaly, and for health care workers such as doctors, nurses and community health workers.  Read more
